Third (?) piece for my concentration for art AP
Acrylic
So, to recap, sortof, I'm going to divide my 12 piece concentration into three sections (maybe) of dead bugs, pretty bugs, and creepy bugs.
I wanted this to make you shiver, to have your skin crawl, for you to be grossed out. this is the the makings of my nightmares, for sure. I love spiders and I think they are very interesting and beautiful, but I am sure as hell terrified of them.
Yay! So I want a 5 on my ap test hella bad, and it's not too late for corrections, so if anyone has any constructive criticism, it would be greatly appriciated!! thanks!

Doesn't quite make my skin crawl, to be honest- I think it needs some more exaggeration for it to be effective.

You could easily do this by increasing the number (and variation) of spiders crawling up the figure. Of course, that's only one option.

The spider also looks very disconnected from the body in atmosphere- I can't quite place it, but it seems to be something to do with the lighting and texture on the spider being so much more refined than that of the body.
